We've made our permanent address change with
the post office and are almost ready for the move.
And VERY tired of the chaos.
One of the biggest packing projects was the longarm which
took us 4 1/2 hours to disassemble and pack very carefully.
Mark & Richard have finished their side of the shop.
We're not going to be able to move any trees afterall.
With no way to water them all summer, it's not worth
the risk/expense and, as it turns out, the lot isn't ready.
It's not easy leaving all our trees behind, esp Mom's.
We're enjoying its last bloom and plan on planting
another just like it at the new house.
However, I can't leave without some currant plants.
For years I've enjoyed planting my spring garden right
as the fragrance of the blooms peak. They grow well
so I'll be planting some in the back corner of our lot
along the hedge row, near the new garden.
A couple other random pics of the "old" house:
in what used to be the farm ground to the west.
(Extends all the way to the corner 119th/29th)
