January Update: Plans Solidified

Last weekend brought 7" of snow and bitter temps.  Very little

has melted but by Sunday the temps should bring the melt we're

looking for.   The house plans are finalized so if the weather

cooperates, it should be a "go" for breaking ground Monday.

We've again chosen Wade of Pool Trends to put in the pool,

though it was a tough decision as we really like the service

Aquasizers has given us in the past.  We'll continue to use

them for maintenance at least.

Before the holidays, we sold (Facebook Market) or donated anything

(furniture, etc) we won't be needing; still trying to move more out. 

We continue to make small steps at packing, leaving the walls

mostly bare; also working to empty freezers and pantry.

I've spent many hours on Pinterest, finding design ideas

and deciding on an overall color-theme and style.

Anything to help make decisions more quickly as they come up.

Update on the lot sales.

Our realtor has just informed us that the model home has sold

and will close around March 20, or earlier, so after this we'll

no longer be able to refer back to it for ideas.

April 1:  move into duplex begins

April 15: approx close date for sale of current home
